devoted to 75th anniversary of Vasily A. Robbek

National Bases for Sustainable Development of the Indigenous
Peoples of the North

Vasily A. Robbek was well-known scholar, Doctor of Sciences (Philology), Honored Scientist of the Russian Federation, prominent public figure. Vasily A. Robbek left the many-sided scientific heritage, greatly contributed to studying, preserving, developing the languages of the indigenous numerically small peoples of the North and to strengthening their socio-economic potential.

The aim of the conference is to discuss the problems and perspectives of sustainable development of the indigenous numerically small peoples of the North, the issues of studying and developing their languages and cultures.

The conference topics include all the directions of studying the languages, culture, history, socio-economic development of the indigenous numerically small peoples of the North:

1.	Languages of the indigenous numerically small peoples of the North: topical issues of preserving and developing them; general theoretical and typological problems.
2.	Studying the folklore and literature of the indigenous numerically small peoples of the North.
3.	Traditional culture of the peoples of the North: the past and the present.
4.	Economic and legal support of the development of the numerically small peoples of the North: domestic and international experience.
5.	Development of traditional lifestyle of the numerically small peoples of the North: preserving their native environment and their traditional nature use.
6.	State, business and the indigenous numerically small peoples of the North.

After the conference, it is planned to publish a collection of scientific articles (the size of one article is: up to 0,5 printer’s sheets). The cost of publishing one page is: 200 rubles. The payment of publishing article includes receiving one copy of a collection of scientific articles.
