[Kanazawa University] [Department of Earth Sciences] [Ishiwatari Page] [Ishiwatari Lab Page] [Message Board]

Ishiwatari Laboratory welcomes PhD students from all over the world to study geology and petrology of various igneous and metamorphic rocks related to ophiolites. The PhD students can experience three-year scientific research in our laboratory with well-equipped modern facilities. They can enjoy comfortable life in the middle-sized, historical city of Kanazawa,  which is full of medieval monuments, beautiful gardens, old temples and downtowns, new shopping malls, delicious sushi shops, famous sake wineries, crowded fish markets, relaxing hot springs, friendly ski grounds, and so on. Please come to my laboratory in Kanazawa University! (Akira Ishiwatari)
