In the past year, the pandemic brought unprecedented crises to the world. It has changed our perception of urban space and redefined social vulnerabilities. The transdisciplinary approach is therefore essential to respond to the uncertainties brought on by the coronavirus and increase the coping capacities of different population groups. This symposium will focus on the urban and social issues both caused by and exacerbated by the pandemic, coping strategies with the uncertainties of different levels, and the challenges in transdisciplinary approaches in building an inclusive and resilient society.
